Featured in the Art Gallery: The Walker Art Collection

During the month of March, the Museum Gallery will continue to feature the art collection of Ardis and Gayle Walker.

Over the years, the Walkers collected an interesting assortment of art ranging from oil paintings to woodcut prints, to lithographs, to watercolors and beyond. They assisted many “starving artists.”

Please come see this collection. This is the first time it is publicly displayed.

Did you miss the Surprise Field Trip? If you did, you missed out ...

on a great trip to Rio Bravo Ranch.

We were very excited to have Dr. Allen Garfinkle Gold, an archaeologist, with 40 years of experience in the area. He gave a great power point presentation about the area, from Indians, to the Spanish, to the farmers and ranchers.

An extra special treat was Mr. Nickel, the owner of Rio Bravo Ranch, gave us great information about the ranch. And the lunch served by Coseree’s was delicious.

Join us for the next exciting field trip.
