District Ranger Al Watson will be the guest speaker at our February community meeting...

He will be discussing the multiple opportunities and challenges the Forest Service encounters here in the Kern River District of the Sequoia NationalForest. He will discuss the challenges that he and the Forest Service staff have been involved with in the Kern River Valley, including the Dam Safety Modification Project and the timber mortality condition of the Sequoia National Forest. He will also tell us more about his standpoint on these horrible wild fires. He will welcome questions that the audience might have. The program will be February 27 at 7 p.m. at the Senior Center in Lake Isabella. Refreshments will be served.
