What's Happening

The Museum displays objects used by the first known inhabitants of the area, the Tubatalabal, whose descendants live here today.

One of the highlights in this exhibit is the rainmaking kit used ceremonially by Tubatulabal chief and shaman, Steban Miranda, who reportedly could make it start or stop raining.
