The Kern River Valley Historical Society is celebrating over 50 years of operation! Our mission is to preserve and communicate the rich and colorful history of this region. The Kern Valley Museum in downtown Kernville, next to the Post Office, welcomes visitors to explore our rich history.

What's Happening in JANUARY 2020

Display Cabinet --- Linda Thurm

Thank you John Dodd for displaying your memorabilia from the Vancouver Olympics.  We appreciate the sharing of treasured memories from your work with NBC at several Olympic venues. 

The January display will feature a collection of pulls for tap beers.  A colorful and diverse assortment.  We are now setting up the schedule of exhibits for 2020 ~ eight months are already spoken for. If you have a collection to share, please contact me, Linda Thurm, at 760-417-2881.
